Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) baseball hosted #6 Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS) in a non-conference match-up. The game opened with both teams getting hot in the second inning; LSUS led the inning off with four runs, as SAGU finished the inning with five runs. The third inning was the turning point in the game, LSUS came out and scored five runs. The Lions could never recover, accompanied by mistakes on defense the Lions fell 14-6. The Lions will be back in conference play for their next series against Southwestern Christian University.
