Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) baseball was on the road in Shreveport, Louisiana to take on Louisiana State University- Shreveport this weekend. In this matchup the Lions played a two-game series in which they lost the first game 4-3 and the second game 8-0. In the first game, a late eighth inning rally by the Lions put them down one run going into the final inning, but the Lions couldn't pull out the comeback. The Lions couldn't find the scoreboard in the second game, which resulted in back to back losses. The Lions will look to get back in a rhythm on Tuesday, April 13th against University of Southwest.
