Waxahachie, TX – SAGU fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 21-2 loss to Science and Arts on Sunday. The Drovers scored on grand slam by Will Hoch in the first inning, a error during Callen Galloway's at bat in the first inning, and a groundout by Peyton McDowall in the second inning.
The Lions struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Science and Arts. The Drovers scored eight runs in the fourth inning as Jake Womack, Brandon Shumway, Golloway, Brock Henderson, and Luis Pelayo all drove in runs in the frame.
Cade Hendrick took the loss for SAGU. Hendricks allowed two hits and five runs over inning.
