Box Score Oklahoma City, OK – SAGU Baseball took a 7-6 victory over Mid-America Christian University in game one of the three-game series on Friday afternoon at the MACU Baseball Field. This win for the Lions marks Coach Matt Cornacchione's 100th win at SAGU and 245th career win. This win also ties the program's wins record, which was set during the 2021 season.

SAGU was down 5-2 in the top of the eighth inning when Cade Dorethy smashed a three-run homerun over the center field wall to tie the game up 5-5. Eli Lyons laid down a masterful sacrifice bunt, and Bryson Collins would hit a sacrifice fly to center field to give the Lions the 6-5 lead. Making a great heads-up baserunning play, Cade Hendricks would then go on to score from second base on a passed ball to give the Lions a 7-5 lead going into the ninth inning.
