Georgetown, TX - The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lions Baseball team ignited Eastfield High School with an exhilarating eleven-inning clash against The University of Houston-Victoria in a neutral match up.
Lions Review
Despite a valiant effort, the Lions suffered a tough defeat to The University of Houston-Victoria Wednesday afternoon. Nick Mosley demonstrated his skills at the plate with an impressive 3 for 5 performance where he delivered 2 runs and an RBI as well as knocking a double. Wesley Flatt also hit a double in his 2 hits for the Lions as he scored a run and knocked in 3 RBIs. The Lions power was on full display with home runs from Dominick Padilla and Zeke Holder. Eli Lyons also got in on the action, scoring twice and going 3 for 6 at the plate.
On the mound, Justin De Los Santos started the game and looked to the bullpen for some help. After going through multiple pitchers, Jadon Harper took the loss as Houston-Victoria took the lead in the final innings.

The Lions look to bounce back in their series against Oklahoma Panhandle University with a double-header beginning Friday at 12:00 PM.
