SAGU Battles Central Christian on the Road

McPherson, KS – The SAGU Women's Soccer team was back on the road as they took on Central Christian College in McPherson, Kansas.

The Tigers took an early lead as Alexa Riddle scored her 6th goal of the season. The Lady Lions responded to tie the game as Rylee Thatcher finds the back of the net with Marie Cano on the assist. Rylee Thatcher now has 8 goals this season. As both teams battled, they went into halftime tied 1-1, however, the Tigers would take the win as Shaela Leahy scored her 1st goal of the season in the 56th minute of the match. The Lions fell 2-1 to Central Christian and now sit at 4-7 on the year.

The SAGU Women's Soccer team will face Science and Arts at home on Tuesday, October 19, at 1:00PM.
