Waxahachie, TX – Five seniors were celebrated and played their final home game on Saturday afternoon at the SAGU Lions Athletic Complex, but the Lady Lions suffered a 1-0 loss to Wayland Baptist. The Pioneers found the net in the 57th minute with a goal from Ajacia Mojica and Bianca Roman on the assist. Though they battled, the Lady Lions were unable to finish with the game tying goal. They now sit at 4-9 on the year.
The Lady Lions will be back on the field as they take on Texas Wesleyan on Tuesday, October 26 at 5:00 PM.
