SAGU Drops Final Game to #3 MACU

Oklahoma City, OK – The SAGU Men's Soccer team was back on the road for the last time on Saturday night as they took on nationally ranked, #3, Mid-America Christian University.

The SAGU Lions fell to the MACU Evangels 4-0 in their last game of the season. The Evangels took the lead in the 16th minute as Jack Price scored his 7th goal of the season assisted by Rodrigo Ferreira. The Evangels doubled the lead as Rodrigo Albuquerque scored his 12th goal of the season with Mandela Singh-Sharpe on the assist. In the 52nd minute of play, Rodrigo Albuquerque found the back of the net again scoring his 2nd goal of the game and 13th of the season as he dribbled around SAGU's keeper. In the 54th minute of play, Mateus Pasquantonio scored his 2nd goal of the season with Jack Price on the assist.

The Lions finished the year 3-11 scoring 18 goals on 90 shots while totaling 99 saves. Juan Ambriz led SAGU with 12 goals on the year and finished with a .444 shooting percentage. Julio Guevara led the SAGU defense with 88 saves and finished the year with a .638 save percentage.
