Fort Worth, TX – The SAGU Women's Basketball team fell in their opening conference game 95-58 to Texas Wesleyan University on Thursday night in the Sid Richardson Center.
 
The young Lady Lions team saw foul trouble throughout the game allowing the Rams to go 29 of 38 (76%) from the charity stripe. Turnovers also plagued SAGU giving up 25 points on 21 turnovers.
 
Highlights:

• Kyla McMinn led SAGU with 13 points and five rebounds
• Rylee Lavender added 11 points and went 4-4 from the free throw line
• Jaycie Brisco led the Lady Lions with six rebounds.

Up Next:
SAGU will now head to Chickasha, Oklahoma to face Science and Arts on Saturday, November 20. Tip-off is set for 2:00 PM.
