San Antonio, TX. – The SAGU volleyball team split a pair of matches to open its 2021 campaign at the OLLU ShinDIG Tournament in San Antonio, Texas, sweeping University of the Southwest in three sets, before dropping a five-set decision to Our Lady of the Lake.
SAGU got off to a hot start against University of the Southwest as they won each of the three sets by a margin of seven points or more.

In the second match of the day, a hot start went cold after SAGU won the first two sets but lost the next three to Our Lady of the Lake. Each match stayed within a margin of four points or less, but Our Lady of the Lake would maintain their lead until the end of the last three sets.
