SAGU Softball Advances to the NCCAA National Championship Game

Kansas City, MO – The Lady Lions advanced to the 2022 NCCAA National Championship game at the NCCAA World Series after winning three straight games on Wednesday. Going into day two of the World Series, the Lady Lions took down Columbia International, the No. 1 seed in their pool, 6-5. SAGU kept the momentum on their side as they took down Arlington Baptist 6-5 in a tiebreaker game to go to the semifinals. Finally, the Lady Lions took down the No. 1 seed in the opposing pool, Mid-America Christian, 5-2 to advance to the championship game at the NCCAA World Series.
 
The Lady Lions will face Columbia International, who they previously beat 6-5, in the national championship game tomorrow at 1:00 PM at the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy in Kansas City, Missouri, on the Motley Field.
