Dallas, TX - Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) and Randall University, the NCCAA-affiliated squads, played a non-conference match on the lush fields of Moneygram Soccer Park.

Kaaliyah Joseph and Kyra Smith would convert their initial aggressiveness into production. Joseph would put a fantastic ball from Smith into the back of the net to score her first collegiate goal.

Shakira Williams would effortlessly glide from the middle of the field to the goal to score a point.

After a corner kick, Janelle Piraino would sprint onto the field to score a long goal that rocketed over the RU defense and out of reach of the RU keeper's outstretched hands.

Paul Hason, head coach of the SAGU women's soccer team, urged his team to "strike the ball with love."

RU would concede an own goal in the second half in response to Valeria Olivas Maldonado's corner kick.

On a free kick effort, L. Black scored a goal for the Saints, but ultimately the Lady Lions would conquer Randall University by three goals.

"The result was in our favor tonight was due to us consistently connecting the dots throughout the game, and the keyword is 'consistently,'" SAGU women's soccer head coach Paul Hason commented.
The Next Step
On September 17, the Lady Lions will host Louisiana State University Shreveport at Life High School in Waxahachie.
