Lady Lions Triumph Over Central Christian Tigers on the Road

McPherson, KS - In a thrilling Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) showdown at the Jerry Alexander Arena, the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lady Lions dominated the court against the Central Christian College (CCC) Tigers.
 

Lions Review
The Lady Lions confronted a tough zone defense from the Central Christian Tigers in the opening period. Neeley Tilley-Bedick and Rylee Lavender showcased exceptional plays, while Wendy Clemmons orchestrated the team's offense. A standout moment featured Agar Farres Garcia's mesmerizing spinning hook shot, leaving Central Christian defenders in disbelief.

As the first half concluded, Neeley Tilley-Bedick led the charge with eight first half points, propelling the Lady Lions to a 34-19 halftime advantage.

The Lady Lions continued their offensive prowess in the second half, with Neeley Tilley-Bedick extending her scoring rampage. The team's tenacious defense stifled the Tigers, securing a decisive 70-45 victory for SAGU.

Agar Farres Garcia delivered a stellar performance, contributing 13 points and an impressive 17 rebounds. Neeley Tilley-Bedick showcased her scoring prowess with 22 points on a 50% field goal percentage, leading the Lady Lions to the win.
