Langston, OK: On Saturday evening in Langston, Oklahoma, the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lady Lions women's basketball team played a Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) contest against the Langston University (LU) Lions.
Four periods of battling between the Langston Lions and SAGU Lady Lions ended with a 68-57 Langston Lions victory.

For the Lady Lions in their final contest of the SAGU team's regular season, Kyla McMinn had a breakthrough performance. McMinn, the sophomore forward, led the SAGU team with a new season high of 19 points, five rebounds, and a new season high of 2 steals.

Throughout the game, the Lady Lion's bench was outstanding. The SAGU bench outscored the LU bench 20-14.

Rylee Lavender connected for four three-pointers. Lavender used loose dribbling movements and ducked behind screens to free herself for attempts, making her unstoppable from a distance.

For the Lady Lions, Taylor Moravcik was a terror in the paint battling for rebounds. The talented forward fell two points short of recording a double-double. Moravcik finished the game with ten rebounds and 8 points.Â

Adding five more points and five more rebounds was Autumn Moore. Neeley Tilley-Bedick contributed seven points.
