Chickasha, OK – On Saturday afternoon at Bill Smith Ballpark in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lady Lions softball team faced the University of Science and Arts (USAO) Drovers in a doubleheader to close their Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) series.

Game 1:
The Drovers once more used a strong start to seize early control of the game. With a run in the second inning, Science & Arts increased their advantage to 3-0. However, the score remained 3-0 until USAO scored their final two runs of the game in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Brooke Kinnibrugh and Trista Ford each got one hit.

Game 2:Â
The Drovers scored in the first inning of play for the fourth straight game, driving in two runs in the bottom of the first.Â
SAGU promptly retaliated with a run of their own in the top of the fourth inning, trimming the Lions' deficit to 3-1 after USAO scored one run in the third inning.
With a run in the bottom of the fifth, the Drovers increased their advantage to 4-1. The Lions then tied the game at 4-4 with three runs in the top of the sixth.
In game two, Abigail Muniz had one RBI while Airiana Magdaleno had three RBIs to lead SAGU. McKenzie Schulze had two hits in three at bats.Â
Trista Ford delivered two strikeouts on the mound for the Lady Lions.
