More from Moore
"Off to a tough start. But we knew it would be a tough schedule. This morning we opened up with a loss to No. 3 Eastern Oregon, 23-25, 15-25, and 17-25. We played tentatively in the entire match. We did have some great play but could not sustain any consistency. We played a very good No. 18 College of St. Mary's in our second match. It was a tough-fought match, 26-24, 19-25, 22-25, 25-20, and 8-15. We could not get anything going; sometimes, that is how it goes. This is a game of process; we are working, and good things are ahead. Our freshmen really stepped in today and played very good volleyball. We will get better as the season goes. I'm a very proud coach, our kids believe in each other, and they are trusting the process," SAGU Head Volleyball Coach Hank Moore said.
