Waxahachie, TX – Riding high from the thrill of claiming the outright Sooner Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship, the No. 20 Nelson University Lady Lions showcased their dominance on the court yet again, sweeping Central Christian College (Kan.) 3-0 on Saturday at the Sheaffer Center.
From the opening serve, the Lady Lions demonstrated why they are a force in the SAC. They came out strong in set one, winning 25-10, fueled by a sharp .296 hitting percentage. The team's offensive power surged even higher in the second set, posting a blistering .625 attack percentage as they cruised to a 25-6 win. The third set sealed their decisive victory, 25-5, with Nelson's relentless defense stifling Central Christian's efforts.
