Chickasha, OK - The University of Science and Arts (USAO) Drovers put on a dominant display as they clashed with the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lions in a Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) series in Chickasha, Oklahoma on Monday afternoon.
Lions Review
In a tough battle, the Lions fell short, succumbing to a 6-0 defeat against the formidable Drovers. Despite efforts from Wesley Flatt, Andrew Ortiz, and James Maddox Henderson, the Lions couldn't find their rhythm at the plate. Matthew Hickey fought hard on the mound, going 5 innings and allowing only 3 earned runs, but it wasn't enough to halt the Drovers' offense. Kaden Kneip faced a tough inning, giving up 3 earned runs before Cade Hendricks, Grant McManus, Jason Harper, and Aaron Saldana entered the game to hold the line.

Looking ahead, the Lions are ready to turn the page as they prepare for the upcoming Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament first round. Their next challenge awaits against Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, TX, scheduled for 2:30 PM on Friday, May 3rd.
