CJ Hall drops 31 points as the Lions powered past the Drovers

Chickasha, OK – The Nelson University Lions hit the road once more for their second consecutive away game of the new year, squaring off against the University of Science and Arts Drovers in an intense Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) clash on Monday evening.

Coming off a comfortable victory in their most recent matchup against the Drovers, the Lions stepped onto the court at Drover Fieldhouse with confidence and swagger.

From the opening tip, the Lions showcased their offensive togetherness. CJ Hall was nothing short of spectacular in the first half, leading all scorers with an impressive 16 points. Hall dazzled the crowd with his sharpshooting and ability to penetrate the Drovers' defense, proving to be an unstoppable force on the court. Micah Clark complemented Hall's performance by adding 11 crucial first-half points, displaying his versatility and knack for making big plays in the painted area,

The dynamic duo of Hall and Clark energized the team and kept the momentum in Nelson University's favor. Their combined efforts helped the Lions execute a fluid offense and apply relentless pressure on the Drovers.

As the game progressed, the intensity only escalated. The Lions continued to push the pace and challenge the Drovers at every turn. Each player contributed to the team's efforts, whether it was through scoring, rebounding, or making pivotal defensive stops in route to a 98-86 win.

CJ Hall scored 31 points and added two steals.

Micah Clark added 19 points and five rebounds.

Jordan Jenkins added 13 points.

Noah Jonker scored 12 points on efficient ? shooting percentage.

The Lions continue their conference journey on Thursday, January 9, at 8:00 PM, when they travel to Siloam Springs, Arkansas, to take on John Brown University.
