McPherson, KS – The Nelson University Lady Lions stormed into Central Christian College on Thursday night and delivered a powerful performance, securing an 80-66 victory in Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) action.

Nelson wasted no time setting the tone, jumping to an early 22-17 lead in the first quarter. The second quarter was a clinic in efficiency, as the Lady Lions shot a scorching 70.6% from the field, extending their advantage to 49-37 at halftime.
Though Central Christian fought back with a strong third quarter, Nelson's dominant inside presence and rebounding sealed the win. The Lady Lions out-rebounded Central Christian 53-25, controlling the glass and second-chance opportunities.
