Waxahachie, TX | February 24, 2026 – The Nelson University Lions earned a hard-fought 8–7 victory over Our Lady of the Lake on Tuesday afternoon, showing resilience and composure in a game that swung back and forth until the final innings. After falling behind late, the Lions responded with a three-run eighth inning and pushed across the decisive run in the ninth to secure the comeback win, as reflected in the official box score.
Nelson finished with nine hits on the afternoon, with timely production up and down the lineup. Joshua Pinter led the way with three hits, including two doubles, while Odnal Rivera added two hits and an RBI.
