Brent Battle

Born on June 11, 1993, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Brent Battle was born to Eric and Dolores Battle. Upon completion of High School in Chicago, he would walk on to Kent State, but due to medical concerns, his career was cut short. After graduating from the University of North Texas with a Communications Studies major and a Marketing minor, he went to work for Jim Harbaugh at the University of Michigan where he was a part of three consecutive Top 10 teams and Top 5 recruiting classes. He would leave the University of Michigan to go to the XFL with Pep Hamilton, where he would be the Assistant Wide Receiver coach for the DC Defenders in addition to the Assistant to the Head Coach / General Manager. Due to COVID-19, the league shut down, and he came to assist SAGU as the Defensive Backs coach. The following year he would go on to become the Passing Game Coordinator and Wide Receiver coach; later being promoted to the Offensive Coordinator. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Amanda Battle with whom he has a daughter, Blu Shay Battle.
