Waxahachie, TX – SAGU Men's Basketball dominated Dallas Christian College taking a 77-49 victory on Friday night in the Sheaffer Center. This was the second time SAGU has faced Dallas Christian this season, winning their first matchup 115-84 to open the 2021 season. The Lions now sit at 2-1 on the year as the #3 nationally ranked NAIA team.
Nykolas Mason led the Lions offense with 22 points going 7-15 from the field and 8-8 from the free throw line. Mason also added seven rebounds including 4 offensive rebounds.
Alerick Hall also had a great night as he added 10 points going 4-6 from the field and 2-2 from the free throw line. Hall also finished with 3 assists and 3 steals on the night.
Defensively, SAGU held Dallas Christian to a 32.7 shooting percentage from the field and a 16.7 three-point percentage on their way to holding the Crusaders to a mere 49 points.
SAGU will now face Wiley College on Saturday, November 13, at 2:00 PM in the Sheaffer Center Gymnasium.
