Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) men's soccer team was on the road for their second away game in three days, as they matched up against John Brown University (JBU). The Lions jumped out to an early lead off the foot of
Jadhel Hill in the 31
st minute, from there they were able to maintain the lead and take it into halftime (1-0). Goalie
Julio Guevara was put to the test in the second half, within the first two minutes of the start he had two saves but in the 59
th minute JBU was able to tie things up 1-1. A red card on the Lions changed the momentum of the game, and JBU was able to take advantage in the 80
th minute to close out the game 2-1. The Lions will be back in action Friday, March 26
th to take on Central Christian College.
