Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) men's soccer hosted Central Christian College in a hard-fought game over the weekend. Early in the game both teams battled for control but neither were able to put points on the scoreboard going into halftime (0-0) as the defense on both sides weren't giving up an inch. In the second half the Lions couldn't connect on opportunities around the net, and a Central Christian goal put them up 1-0, they were able to ride this lead to the end of regulation.
