Waxahachie, TX – The SAGU Women's Soccer team took a 7-0 win over Arlington Baptist on Tuesday afternoon making this their third win in a row. The Lions took a 10-0 win over Texas College, a 6-0 win over Southwestern Adventist University, and finally a 7-0 win over Arlington Baptist University. The SAGU Women's Soccer team has outscored their opponents 23-0 in the last three matches and improved their 2021 season record to 4-2.
Rylee Thatcher led the Lions offense on Tuesday afternoon against Arlington Baptist as she found the back of the net three times on just seven shots on goal giving herself the hat trick.
Alexis Roman followed suit as she scored twice on just three shots, while Paul Gomez and
Katia Casanova both scored goals as well.
Zoe Boldt led the Lions defense as she shutout Arlington Baptist in her 90 minutes played and collected seven saves. The Lions improve to 4-2 on the season as they now begin Sooner Athletic Conference play.
