Plainview, OK: The No. 9 Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lady Lions volleyball team road-tripped to face the Wayland Baptist University (WBU) Pioneers. WBU middle hitter Alexa Hinojos has been a significant stat stuffer for the Pioneers club. The Sooner Athletic Conference's second-longest victory streak in the league belongs to Alexa Hinojos and the WBU team, with a league record of (5), trailing only the unbeaten SAGU team's 20-match run. By being tall and strong at the blocks and loose and free with their ball movement, the Lady Lions would try to maintain their unbeaten streak.
The Lady Lions (20-0, 12-0) rolled WBU in three sets, 25-17, 25-21 and 25-21.

More from Moore:
"Congrats to our kids for another big conference. We have a team that plays with heart. I'm very proud of them. Tonight Karena Tipton had a huge night. Nine kills on 16 swings. She only had one error. She also added two solo blocks and three assist blocks. Tessa led us in digs with 28. That is 9.33 digs per set. Kudos to a much improved Wayland Baptist team. They competed at a quality level," SAGU Head Volleyball Coach Hank Moore said.
