Oklahoma, OK: In a clash between the two Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) clubs, the Lady Lions volleyball team from Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) traveled to Abe Lemons Arena to take on the Oklahoma City University (OCU) Stars.
The No. 10 SAGU Lady Lions trounced the OCU thanks to a handful of Lady Lions who put up enormous numbers.
The Lady Lions (16-0, 8-0) smashed OCU (7-8, 5-3) in four sets, 25-13, 17-25, 25-20 and 25-16

The game would start with Riley Burcham setting up a kill for Emma Tompkins to smash in her usual exceptional style.

-
When Riley Burcham passed to Alexandra Bonnett for the kill, she would continue to tally up significant assist totals.
-
Hank Moore, the Lady Lions' head coach, would give Val Salas some sage advice, and she would make her presence felt as soon as she subbed into the match.
-
Ava Myers would descend from the ceiling for a kill when the first set's final points were to be delivered.
-
OCU would react, spurred on by their home fans, by tying the match series.
-
Madison Petten and Samantha Rico would bolster the Lady Lions' defense in the third set, keeping OCU kills from the ground.
-
The Lady Lions' defense in the third set would also benefit from Abby Wells' and Lilly Hanna's length at the net.
-
Tessa Glick, Ava Myers, and Riley Burcham would shatter stat sheets in the fourth and final set to propel the Lady Lions to win.
More from Moore:
"Today was a huge test for our kids. I'm very proud of the way they responded to adversity. This has been a very tough week for our kids, but today they stepped up in a big way. OCU is a quality program. Any time you win in their gym is a great program win. Tessa, Riley, and Ava had some incredible numbers today. But, this was a great team win.," SAGU Head Volleyball Coach Hank Moore said.
