Lion Review
-
In the first half of the game, two expertly coached Sooner Athletic Conference teams engaged in a firefight, hurling haymakers at one another.
-
Even though he committed two early fouls, Cortland Blake delivered the scoring punch that gave SAGU the advantage at the break. Before the break, Blake scored nine points on 50% of his shots.
-
Brooks Haddock assumed command of the contest in the second half. Haddock's scoring resulted from numerous head fakes, pass fakes, and pivots, allowing him to position himself for flawless swishes.
-
In the game's closing moments, the Lions' backcourt was exceptionally excellent. Noah Boiling and Alerick Hall, who are both under six feet tall, were stat sheet stuffers who grabbed rebounds, dished out spectacular assists, and scored from all over the floor.

SAGU ultimately defeated MACU 72-61.
-
Cortland Blake had 15 points, while Brooks Haddock had 14 points to lead the Lions in scoring.
-
