Lions Review
On the field, the Lions faced a formidable John Brown University squad, struggling to find traction offensively and failing to secure a goal. The match concluded with a 4-0 loss to John Brown, but it was not without its signs of promise.

Despite the score, the Lions displayed an electrifying performance, keeping their home fans engaged and eager for more. David Calvete Beltran and Michael Smith combined for five saves, showcasing their resilience in the face of relentless pressure.

Jonathan Lopez almost surprised John Brown's defense with a near goal, as his shot skidded just outside the goal post, leaving the opposition spooked.

Key statistics from the game included John Brown University's 15 shots compared to SAGU's three, illustrating the challenging competition. John Brown also secured seven corner kicks, while SAGU managed three, further underlining the game's intensity.

While the outcome may not have favored the Lions, the passion and determination they exhibited during the senior day match left an indelible mark, both on the fans and the program. The Lions can build on this performance as they prepare for their next challenges in the SAC.
