Goodwell, OK – In a Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) matchup on Tuesday evening, the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lions soccer team delivered a commanding performance, securing a resounding 1-0 victory over the Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU) Aggies. The game, marked by a remarkable goal from Anna Bewley, was a testament to the Lions' defensive firepower. Ethan Stewart scored the games lone goal in the 87th minute unassisted.

The first half of the match saw both teams engaged in a fierce battle, resulting in a 0-0 halftime stalemate. The contest was marked by solid defensive play and a series of close calls, with both sides vying for control.
As the second half unfolded, the Lions remained steadfast in their commitment to secure a victory. In the 87th minute of the game, Ethan Stewart emerged as the hero, scoring the lone goal of the match, unassisted.
