Langston, OK – In an electrifying Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) showdown at the CF Gayles Field House, the SAGU Lady Lions volleyball team showcased their prowess on Friday evening against the Langston University (LU) Lions. The stage was set, and the traveling Lady Lions roared to a victory, defeating LU in three commanding sets: 25-19, 25-10, and 25-14.

Bailee Alexander led the Lady Lions in kills with an impressive tally of 11, demonstrating her offensive firepower.
Emma Tompkins added nine kills and stood tall at the net with three crucial blocks, making her presence felt on both ends of the court.
Lilly Hanna contributed five kills and two blocks, playing a vital role in the team's success.
The serving game was on point, with Riley Burcham, Tessa Glick, and Lindi Boling tallying a combined five aces. Cassidy Hargesheimer orchestrated the offense with 16 assists, while Riley Burcham provided 15 assists to keep the Lady Lions in control. The defensive effort was stellar, with Lindi Boling recording nine digs, Tessa Glick contributing eight, and Madison Petten adding five.
The Lady Lions' teamwork, powerful attacks, and solid defense proved to be the winning formula in this SAC showdown.
