Oklahoma City, OK– On Saturday evening at the Allen Field in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lady Lions softball team closed their Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) series against the Mid-America Christian University (MACU) Evangels.Â

Lions ReviewÂ
In the opening game of the day and the third in the series, the Lions fell to the Evangels 0-8. MACU had ten hits compared to SAGU's five. The game was decided by MACU's potent offensive effort in the third inning when they scored six runs.Â
MACU pitcher Rachel Eggleston shut out the Lady Lions, but Airiana Magdaleno and Abigail Howel were able to smash doubles.Â
The Lady Lions were defeated by MACU 9-1 in the series last game.
With two hits, Trista Ford led the Lady Lion offensive for SAGU, which had seven hits overall in the game.
Myranda Lewis recorded the Lady Lion's solo RBI in the 4th inning when she singled through the left side to bring home Makinzy Kneip for the score.

On Friday, April 28th, Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) will face the Southwestern Christian University in a doubleheader to open their Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) series.
