Waxahachie, Texas -In an electrifying showdown on Friday at the Lions Athletic Complex, the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lady Lions soccer team displayed remarkable prowess as they triumphed over the University of Dallas (UD) Crusaders. The sunlit evening provided the perfect backdrop for a soccer spectacle that left fans on the edge of their seats.

The first half saw the Lady Lions setting the tempo of the game, with Anna Bewley making her mark by expertly finding the back of the net. Paula Moreno Gomez showcased her playmaking skills with an exquisite assist to set up Bewley's goal, giving SAGU the early lead.
However, the Lady Lions were not content with just a one-goal advantage. They returned to the field with renewed vigor in the second half, and it was Anna Bewley who once again took center stage. In the 58th minute, Bewley showcased her exceptional talent with a mesmerizing strike from the 30-yard line that found the target, doubling the Lady Lions' lead.
