Goodwell, OK - In a thrilling Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) clash at Anchor D Bank Arena in Goodwell, Oklahoma, the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lady Lions asserted their dominance against the Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU) Aggies on Saturday evening.

The game kicked off with a commanding performance by Kyla McMinn and Agar Farres Garcia, showcasing impeccable post-scoring moves and formidable defense. Wendy Clemmons, guided by teammate Neeley Tilley-Bedick, contributed with a dazzling three-pointer, setting the tone for an impressive 18-0 scoring run by the Lady Lions in the opening period.
By halftime, SAGU held a commanding 56-16 lead, with Cailyn Tucker's three consecutive three-pointers highlighting their offensive talent and depth. The third quarter witnessed an extension of the Lady Lions' lead, culminating in a stunning buzzer-beater floater from Farres Garcia.
The final score of 102-44 reflected the Lady Lions' formidable defense and team synergy. Agar Farres Garcia shone as the star of the game, nearly achieving a triple-double with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists. Kyla McMinn, Caitlyn Panuco, Chanie Chambers, and Rylee Lavender also made significant scoring contributions.
