Waxahachie, TX - In a heart-stopping Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) rematch, the No. 25 Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lions delivered an emphatic performance against the University of North Texas Dallas (UNTD) Trailblazers at the Sheaffer Center in Waxahachie, Texas.

Having narrowly edged out the Trailblazers in an 86-83 nailbiter on the road, the Lions were determined to replicate that success on their home court, much to the delight of their fans.
In a first half marked by intense battles and open floodgates, Kylon Owens showcased his skills with back-to-back scores, including a stunning three-pointer and an offensive rebound putback in traffic. The halftime intermission saw both teams locked at 11 assists each, with Cortland Blake standing out with 14 points.
The Lions maintained their momentum in the second half, extending their lead with dynamic plays such as Cortland Blake's and-one layup, CJ Hall's fadeaway jumpshot, and Noah Boling's precision pass to Kylon Owens. The highlight of the day came as team captain Noah Boling reached the SAGU 1000 points club, contributing 10 points to the Lions' triumphant 93-68 victory.
