Lady Lions Review
From the opening whistle, the Lady Lions took control of the game, creating multiple chances and putting the Texas Wesleyan defense under constant pressure. Just minutes later, the Lady Lions doubled their advantage. Stephanie Hernandez pounced on a loose ball in the box and powered it past the Texas Wesleyan keeper in the 17th minute, making it 2-0 before halftime.

In the second half, Nelson continued to dominate possession and extend their lead. Anna Bewley once again found the back of the net in the 53rd minute, this time assisted by Stephanie Arreola, putting the Lady Lions firmly in control at 3-0. Samantha Delgado capped off the scoring for Nelson in the 85th minute with a brilliant finish, making it 4-0.
