Siloam Springs, AR - In a highly anticipated clash within the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC), the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lady Lions journeyed to Siloam Springs, Arkansas, to take on the undefeated 17-0 conference leaders, the John Brown University (JBU) Eagles.

Lady Lions Review
From the opening tip-off, the Lady Lions showcased their tenacity and offensive prowess, with Kyla McMinn and Wendy Clemmons setting the tone with early scoring plays. Agar Farres Garcia and Neeley Tilley-Beddick asserted dominance on both ends of the court, controlling the tempo and disrupting JBU's offensive rhythm.
Off the bench, Chanie Chambers electrified the game with a barrage of three-pointers, quickly amassing nine points and forcing JBU to call a timeout to regroup. Despite the Eagles' adjustments, Chambers continued her hot shooting, maintaining the pressure on the opposition.
At halftime, the scoreboard reflected a deadlock at 25-25, highlighting the intensity and competitiveness of the matchup. The second half saw a defensive battle unfold, with both teams refusing to relinquish an inch.
In the end, the Lady Lions fell short, succumbing to a 58-47 defeat against the formidable JBU Eagles. Despite the loss, key contributors emerged, with Neeley Tilley-Beddick and Chanie Chambers leading the scoring effort with 12 points each. Agar Farres Garcia showcased her versatility with eight points and six rebounds, while Autumn Moore facilitated the offense with four assists.
