Lions Review
From the opening tip-off, fans were treated to an extraordinary display of shotmaking prowess from both teams. The matchup showcased the talents of the two leading scorers in the conference, but it was the Lions' CJ Hall who emerged as the early-game standout.
In the first half, Hall's combination of elite ball-handling and sharpshooting proved too much for the Tigers to handle. Heading into halftime, the Lions held a commanding 41-30 lead, with CJ Hall leading all scorers with an impressive 24 points.
The second half saw the Lions employing a well-rounded offensive strategy to further extend their lead. On a night where Noah Boling was honored for joining the SAGU 1000 points club, he showcased his playmaking skills while still contributing with smooth buckets. Cortland Blake and Noah Jonker also emerged as dominant forces in the paint.
CJ Hall continued his scoring onslaught, finishing the game with an outstanding 31 points, while Tre McGrue added to the excitement with a long-range pull-up three. The climax came with Cory Hicks delivering a thunderous tomahawk slam dunk that sent the gym's excitement through the roof. The Lions ultimately sealed the game with a commanding 92-69 victory.
