The Lions (14-6, 12-4 SAC) jumped out strong, shooting 50% from the field in the first half to build a 41-36 halftime lead. Despite Texas Wesleyan's relentless effort to claw back, Nelson never relinquished their advantage. CJ Hall was the driving force behind Nelson's victory, delivering an impressive 25 points, including a perfect 11-for-11 from the free-throw line, while grabbing 7 rebounds.
