Waxahachie, TX – In front of an electric home crowd at the Sheaffer Center, the Nelson University Lions made history, securing the 2025 Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) regular season championship with a thrilling victory over John Brown University on Senior Day.
With emotions running high and a championship on the line, the Lions delivered a dominant performance, refusing to let the moment slip away. John Brown fought to play spoiler, but Nelson's depth, energy, and relentless attack ensured that the celebration would go as planned.
