Hawkins, TX – The Nelson University women's soccer team unleashed an offensive showcase on Tuesday afternoon, rolling to a 7–0 victory over Jarvis Christian in Sooner Athletic Conference play. From the opening whistle, the Lady Lions dictated the tempo, finishing with precision and never letting the Bulldogs find a foothold.
It didn't take long for Nelson to grab control. In just the 7th minute, Daisy Altamirano opened the scoring, assisted by Damaris Solis. Altamirano struck again before halftime, this time set up by Stephanie Hernandez, giving Nelson a 2–0 cushion at the break.
The Lady Lions erupted after intermission, finding the back of the net five more times in a dazzling display of teamwork and depth.
While the attack shined, the defense delivered a flawless outing. Goalkeeper Anna Amara didn't face a shot on target, recording the clean sheet without needing a save. Nelson limited Jarvis to just one shot all game and dominated corner kicks 7–2.
Seven goals came from five different contributors, with Solis tallying two goals and two assists, Altamirano netting three, and both Stovall sisters plus Delgado adding late strikes. The performance highlighted Nelson's balance, depth, and clinical finishing across the roster.
