Waxahachie, TX | March 30, 2026 — Elite company. National recognition. A season stamped in history.
Nelson University's Micah Clark has been named a NAIA First Team All-American, solidifying his place among the very best players in small college basketball. Out of thousands of student-athletes across the country, Clark stands in the top tier of the game, representing Nelson on the national stage.
Clark's 2025-26 campaign wasn't just productive, it was dominant. The 6'7" senior guard led the Lions with 23.3 points per game, pouring in 746 total points while shooting an efficient 47.8% from the field and knocking down 86 three-pointers on the season. He added 6.8 rebounds per game, proving to be a complete, do-it-all presence on both ends of the floor.
Night after night, Clark delivered. Whether it was explosive scoring bursts, clutch shot-making, or commanding the pace of the game, he consistently rose to the moment. Opponents had no answers. In conference play and beyond, he established himself as one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the NAIA, highlighted by multiple 30-point performances and weekly national recognition.
But Clark's impact goes beyond the stat sheet.
He was the engine behind a 26-6 season and a Sooner Athletic Conference championship run, helping position Nelson University as a national contender. His leadership, consistency, and ability to elevate those around him became the standard for a team that competed with edge, confidence, and purpose all year long.
Now, that excellence is recognized at the highest level.
Being named a First Team All-American places Clark among the elite names in NAIA basketball, a group reserved for players who define seasons, shape programs, and leave lasting legacies.
And for Nelson University, Micah Clark did exactly that.
