Waxahachie, TX | March 26, 2026 — History made. And once again, Micah Clark is at the center of it.
Nelson University's star guard has been named to the NABC Inaugural NAIA All-Region Team, earning recognition as one of the top players in the South Region and one of the premier talents across the entire NAIA landscape. In a historic first release by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, Clark's name stands among an elite group of just 15 players selected from his region.
And like everything else this season, it's earned.
Clark delivered a dominant 2025-26 campaign, leading the Lions with explosive scoring, consistent playmaking, and a presence that demanded attention every night. A matchup nightmare with size, skill, and shot-making ability, he proved time and time again why he's one of the most feared offensive weapons in the country.
But this honor carries even more weight.
As part of the first-ever NABC NAIA All-Region teams, Clark's selection doesn't just recognize a great season, it cements his place in history. This inaugural list sets the benchmark for years to come, and Nelson University is proudly represented at the highest level.
Even more, All-Region selections automatically become finalists for NABC NAIA All-America honors, placing Clark firmly in the national spotlight once again.
From conference dominance to national recognition, Clark's season continues to stack accolade after accolade and each one tells the same story:
Elite production. Big-time moments. National respect.
