Texarkana, TX - The Nelson University Lady Lions battled throughout 90 minutes Saturday night but ultimately fell 2-0 to Texas A&M Texarkana.
The Lady Lions created several scoring opportunities throughout the match, but couldn't capitalize.Â
Texas A&M Texarkana took the lead in th e14th minute, and then added to their lead in the 36th minute to take a 2-0 lead into the half.Â
Nelson continued to pressure the Eagles' defense in the second, recording 5 shots, but were unable to find the back of the net.Â
The Lady Lions finished the game with 15 total shots, 11 of which were on goal.

Damaris Solis led the attack with 3 shots apiece.Â
