Langston, OK - For the second weekend in a row, the Nelson Volleyball team took on another tough doubleheader road trip, this time playing in two states over two days. The Lady Lions opened the weekend Friday in Oklahoma against Langston University before heading to McPherson, Kansas, to face Central Christian College. Similar to last weekend's road trip, the Lady Lions once again dominated their Friday matchup, shutting out Langston University in the Battle of the Lions and earning a 3-0 sweep.

The Lady Lions never gave Langston an opportunity to gain momentum, winning all three sets while dominating from start to finish and allowing just 29 points throughout the entire match.

Caroline Boone set the tone early, reaching double digits in the kills column with 11. Keara Savory-Calbo and Addison Standley also made their presence felt offensively, with Savory-Calbo recording six kills and Standley adding five.

Cassidy Hargesheimer had a standout performance, contributing in multiple areas of the match. She recorded 12 assists while also making an impact from the service line, leading the team with four aces.

While the offense continued to apply pressure, the Lady Lions' defense kept the Langston Lions in check, recording 23 digs and 10 blocks on the night.

Chloe Munoz, Taylor Felux, and Hargesheimer each contributed to Nelson's defensive effort, helping the team reach 23 digs. At the net, freshman Savannah Bergman continued to make her presence felt, dominating with a team-high seven blocks on the night.

The Lady Lions continue to stay red-hot, extending their winning streak to 11 consecutive matches while remaining undefeated in conference play with a 9-0 record.
