Box Score Waxahachie, TX – The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Men's Soccer home opener was a close competitive match. From the kickoff the team followed the game plan.  They were able to keep possession and create plenty of chances to secure the game in the first half. The Lions took the lead early in the first half and were looking to finish the game off with another goal. Casual turn overs from simple mistakes let Bacone College back into the game.  Scoring the second goal in the second half was big for the Lions but again proved to be not enough. Later in the second half the Lions allowed the opponent to get back in the game which carried in double overtime. The game finished in a 2-2 tie.
