Waxahachie, TX: The Oklahoma City University (OCU) Stars were the opponent for the undefeated No. 9 Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lady Lions volleyball team on Friday evening at the Sheaffer Center in Waxahachie, Texas. The offensive specialists for the Lady Lions were a crucial part of the SAGU game plan since their outstanding performances provided the Lady Lions the flexibility to defend and adhere to their formations. During the game, the game held a senior night celebration honoring Emma Tompkins, Ava Myers, Riley Burcham, and Karena Tipton.
The Lady Lions (25-0, 17-0) crushed OCU in four sets, 25-22, 25-13, 25-23 and 25-11.

More from Moore:
"I'm very proud of our team and how they responded tonight. Our seniors were fantastic. Ava had one of her best matches of the year. She hit over .300, and that really set us up for a good night. Riley Burcham had a double-double and just played at a high level. The two middles, Emma and Karena Tipton did a great job of shutting down OCU's great middle hitters. Lindi Boling played an incredible match. She led us with 14 digs, but the night stat was Lindi Boling's six aces. She really played well. 25-0 is a great accomplishment, but we have a great deal of work ahead of us. These seniors played outstanding. I'm proud of them, and I am glad we will have three of them back next year as they will play their COVID year. Again, this is a very special team. It is a real blessing to be a part of this program." SAGU Head Volleyball Coach Hank Moore said.
