Waxahachie, TX: The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) football squad hosted the Aggies of Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU). The Aggie football team had won four straight games going into the contest. The OPSU roster returns a large number of starters from their previous season, so the Aggies are an entertaining club to watch in the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) and a unique matchup for SAGU.
Briley Green, the starting quarterback, guided SAGU to a 41-18 victory over OPSU.
