Oklahoma City – SAGU Softball took the No. 6 seed in the Sooner Athletic Conference softball tournament beginning on Friday both at Oklahoma City's Ann Lacy Stadium and Science and Arts' Bill Smith Ballpark in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
The Lady Lions will take on the No. 3 seed Oklahoma Panhandle State University on Friday, May 6, at 4:00 p.m. at Bill Smith Ballpark in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Live coverage will be available.

The eight league teams who made the tournament will play out two four-team double-elimination brackets. The two teams that come out from both brackets will square off for the conference tournament title 1 p.m. Sunday at Ann Lacy Stadium.
Top seed Oklahoma City ranked second among the NAIA, and second seed Science & Arts, ranked fifth nationally, shared the SAC regular-season championship. OCU gained the No. 1 seed based on its 3-1 mark against Science & Arts in 2022.
In their 2022 series with Oklahoma Panhandle State University, the Lady Lions split with Aggies 2-2.
